Included in the GO DEEP curriculum is also behind-the-scenes tips to help make integrating these lessons into introductory engineering courses as seamless as possible, even for novice instructors.

CriticalIn order to assess the effectiveness of the GO DEEP curriculum, the project team modified and validated a version of the Critical Consciousness Scale adapted from Diemer et al. (2017). The survey tool assesses people’s critical reflection related to perceived inequality and egalitarianism as well as critical action related to sociopolitical perception.
